About Sokoni
Sokoni was founded in Windsor in 2017 with a $3,000 Multicultural grant and a vision to create a thriving marketplace for Black entrepreneurs. Through volunteer support and community dedication, we grew steadily until 2021 when we received funding from the Federal Economic Development Agency under the Black Entrepreneurship Program (BEP). Today, Sokoni serves vendors across Windsor, London, Kitchener, Hamilton, and Toronto—connecting them with customers who value quality products from Black-owned businesses.
